Capcom has just released a brand new video with its upcoming Resident Evil: Revelations game, this time focusing on the heritage of the long-running horror series, as well as how the 3DS title was remastered in high-definition for the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U.

Resident Evil: Revelations was released officially last year for the Nintendo 3DS handheld platform, and now Capcom is set to launch it for other devices, including home consoles like the PS3, Xbox 360, or Wii U, as well as for the PC.

We have already heard that a special demo is going to appear in the near future, ahead of the game's release next month, and now a special video has just been released.

The trailer features plenty of gameplay footage and takes a look at the heritage of the Resident Evil franchise, while highlighting the ways Revelations respects the roots of the horror series.

Resident Evil: Revelations is out on May 21 in North America, and May 24 in Europe.
