Capcom has just released a fresh video with Resident Evil: Revelations, this time showing off the different features of the game's Wii U version and how it uses the special GamePad to offer new experiences.

Resident Evil: Revelations is set to appear later this month for the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U platforms, after coming out for the 3DS last year.

On the Wii U, developer Capcom is taking advantage of the unique GamePad and has implemented many different features.

You can use the controller to display a tactical overhead map, but also during hacking and rewiring mini-games, or as an actual main display, when the TV is unavailable. A more outlandish use is to assign taunts to certain zombies, which will then be displayed in the campaigns of other people, or to leave death messages after you succumb to the undead horde.

A Resident Evil: Revelations demo will be released in the very near future, ahead of its full launch on May 21 in North America, and May 25 in Europe.
