Capcom has confirmed that it will soon be releasing a demo of its upcoming Resident Evil: Revelations title in territories outside Japan, including Europe and North America.

Nintendo 3DS owners are set to receive a proper console-like experience at the end of the month, when Capcom deploys its high quality and steeper priced Resident Evil: Revelations.

Now, before the game’s actual release, the Japanese company has confirmed that a free demo will be released through the 3DS’ eShop in the near future for both American and European customers.

The demo was already released in Japan last week, but Capcom PR boss Christian Svensson says that concrete dates for other territories will be revealed as soon as possible.

Until then, Resident Evil fans interested in Revelations will have to save up the money for the game, which costs a whopping $50/€50, much more than a regular 3DS game.

The game is officially out on January 27, in Europe, and February 7, in North America, so expect the demo to appear shortly before that time.
