Resident Evil Revelations 2 has apparently been leaked via the official Xbox website, as a cover and a lone screenshot were uncovered by tricky users on Microsoft's page.

The Resident Evil franchise from Capcom has seen some successful and less successful titles appear in recent times, and the latest release confirmed in the series is Resident Evil Remastered, which overhauls the very first game with fresh visuals for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Now, it seems that another project has leaked online, thanks to the Xbox website.

According to AGB, the cover artwork for Resident Evil Revelations 2 for the Xbox 360 is available on Microsoft's servers, alongside a screenshot that shows a pretty spooky environment that can be explored in the new title.

As of yet, however, Capcom is staying silent about the leak and hasn't revealed anything about the actual existence of a Resident Evil Revelations 2.

The first Revelations was among the most popular recent releases in the franchise, as longtime fans were impressed with the actual focus on survival horror and the intense story that featured fan favorites Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield. The title appeared on the Nintendo 3DS first and then made its way to the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
