Capcom has just revealed a special surprise for those who get Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City this week, as a free downloadable add-on will be made available next month, which sees a U.S. Spec Ops team help Jill Valentine escape the zombie-infested location.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City sees players take control of a team of Umbrella Security Service mercenaries and help them fight their way through the derelict city, eliminating zombies, monsters, and rivals.
Now, according to a new Capcom announcement, the game will get some free DLC, which sees players guide a U.S. Spec Ops squad, the same one we saw in a previous trailer, around the city.
Their mission is to help out Jill Valentine escape the Nemesis that’s rampaging through the streets of the city, adventure that Resident Evil 3 players will no doubt remember.
The free DLC for Operation Raccoon City will be released on April 10, both on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The actual game is out tomorrow, March 20, in North America, and on Friday, March 23, in Europe.
