Valve and Capcom, after confirming yesterday that they're working on promotional DLC for their Left 4 Dead 2 and Resident Evil 6 titles, have just revealed some more details about the extra content as well as quite a few screenshots from Resident Evil 6.

Capcom is getting ready to debut Resident Evil 6 on the PC platform and it decided to team up with Valve, the company behind another popular zombie shooter, in the form of Left 4 Dead 2, to create some cross-promotional DLC.

As such, the two companies revealed that characters and enemies from Left 4 Dead 2 are coming to Resident Evil 6, and vice versa.

Check out the full details below, via AGB.

"Owners of Resident Evil 6 PC will be able to select one of four survivors from Left 4 Dead 2’s iconic cast – Coach, Nick, Ellis and Rochelle – when playing PC exclusive mode, The Mercenaries No Mercy. Each character will have a special customized weapon load-out created just for use in Resident Evil 6."

"In addition to the four survivors, two of the infamous Special Infected zombies from the Left 4 Dead franchise – the Witch and Mini Tank – will also make a cameo appearance in this mode, relentlessly attacking players regardless of whether a character from Left 4 Dead 2 or Resident Evil 6 is chosen."

The special Resident Evil 6 DLC will be available as a free download on April 5.

Meanwhile, the PC version of Left 4 Dead 2 will be getting three classic enemies from Resident Evil 6, in the form of Lepotitsa, Napad, and Ogroman. This DLC will be released in spring, as work is still needed to make sure the enemies will fit in alongside the traditional zombies from Left 4 Dead 2.

In the meantime, you can check out quite a few screenshots with the new characters and enemies in Resident Evil 6 below.
