Quite a lot of details about Resident Evil 6 have appeared earlier today but a special tidbit of information designed for the game’s Japanese market is the most surprising, as the Resident Evil 6 Premium Edition will cost in the Asian country a whopping $1,300 (€991).

Resident Evil 6 is set to deliver an impressive experience, starring not one but three major protagonists, namely Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, and new guy Jake Muller.

In order to truly mark the game’s launch in Japan, where it’s called Biohazard 6, Capcom has unveiled a very special Premium Edition, via Siliconera. Besides the game, you’ll get three case covers starring the protagonists, as well as a fourth mysterious one.

While this is usual content for special editions, those who buy it will get an actual leather jacket modeled after the one worn by Leon Kennedy in the new game.

This item takes the price of the Resident Evil 6 Premium Edition to a whopping 105,000 yen (aka $1,300 or €991).

You can check out the actual page with details and even a sizing chart here, although it’s only in Japanese.

While the leather jacket looks quite cool, you can be sure that Capcom won’t replicate the special edition in other territories.
