The development team at Capcom has revealed to Japanese magazine Famitsu that it would be including a new Agent Hunt game mode for the upcoming Resident Evil 6, which will allow gamers to take control of the various in-game monsters in order to take out the core human characters.

The most intriguing aspect of the new Agent Hunt is that it will be fully integrated with the campaign in Resident Evil 6, allowing those players who have gone through it once to opt into it and then have other gamers take control of some monsters in some levels.

This will increase the difficulty level and offer more of a challenge for Resident Evil veterans.

Those who inhabit monsters will also be able to coordinate their actions using the in-game chat system.

Resident Evil 6 will be launched on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in early October of this year.
