During a panel at the San Diego Comic Con event, the development team at Capcom has revealed the entire voice and motion capture cast for the upcoming Resident Evil 6.

The involved actors are:

Ada Wong and Carla Radames - Michelle Lee for motion capture and Courtenay Taylor for voice Chris Redfield - Reuben Langdon for body work and Roger Craig Smith for voice Helena Harper - Katherine Randolph for motion capture and Laura Bailey for the voice Jake Muller - Troy Baker for both body and voice Leon S. Kennedy - Jason Faunt for movement capture and Matthew Mercer for the voice Piers Nivans - Kevin Dorman for body work and Chris Emerson for the voice work Sherry Birkin - Sara Fletcher for the movement tracking and Eden Riegel for voice.

The director for all the voice over work on Resident Evil 6 is Liam O’Brien.

Resident Evil 6 will allow gamers to use three viewpoints in order to experience the same grand narrative.

Leon S. Kennedy and Helena Harper make up one team, killing a mutated President of the United States before trying to uncover a conspiracy.

Jake Muller, son of Albert Wesker, is working with Sherry Birkin in order to stop an attack in Edonia while Chris Redfield, who works for the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, is partnered with Piers Nivans.

The new game will introduce a major change to the mechanics of the series, allowing players to shoot while moving for the first time, and the developers have also promised to deliver a deeper and more terrifying story than in Resident Evil 5.

Resident Evil 6 will be launched on the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and will be available on October 2 in North America and Europe and two days later in Japan.
