14 DAY TRIAL // Capcom has just confirmed the special Resident Evil 6 Collector’s Edition that is now available for pre-order in territories like Europe, the Middle East, Australia or New Zealand, which includes all sorts of impressive goodies.
Resident Evil 6 is one of Capcom’s biggest upcoming titles so you can bet that the Japanese company is going all out in its promotional efforts.
We already saw Capcom go to some impressive lengths with a special Premium Version of Resident Evil 6 for Japan, which included, besides the actual game, a real-life leather jacket modeled after the one worn by Leon S. Kennedy and cost a whopping $1,300 (€991).
Now, the company has presented the special Resident Evil 6 Collector’s Edition for territories like Europe, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, which bundles together all sorts of intriguing things, including a real-life hoodie.
The Resident Evil 6 Collector’s Edition contains the following:
- Resident Evil 6 game - Zombie Steel Book - Exclusive Resident Evil 6 hardback artbook showing concept art from the game - Resident Evil 6 Avatar DLC code for 360 owners OR an RE6 Dynamic Theme for PS3 owners - Ivy University, Tall Oaks hooded sweatshirt (one size) - ‘The RE6 forces emblems’ – High quality enameled zinc alloy emblems of the three main protagonists squad insignias, mounted and set in a limited numbered frame authenticated with signatures from Senior producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and RE6 Director Eiichiro Sasaki. For those who don’t want all these extravagant items but do want their copy of Resident Evil 6 to stand out, the company has also revealed a special limited edition Steelbook version that should be available at all retailers.
Resident Evil 6 is out on October 2 for the PS3 and Xbox 360, and will come out on the PC later this year.
