Resident Evil 5 was one of the most highly anticipated games at the beginning of this year. It sold a lot of copies and, even though reviewers didn't praise it a lot in their materials, the game is still quite popular with fans all around the world who eagerly anticipated its release.

In order to profit from this heavy demand, the team at Capcom released the Versus Mode DLC, which provided a full-fledged multiplayer mode to the game. As you recall, a bit of controversy was raised in terms of the small size of the DLC, which was priced at 5 dollars, and as to whether it unlocked just content previously found on the disc.

After much debate, the problem was solved and fans were once again left wanting more. In a recent interview, Capcom's Christian Svennsson talked about the possibility that more DLC might appear in the future, revealing that a lot of fans wanted new things in the game.

“We haven’t ruled out more content for RE5 as DLC,” Svennsson said. “In fact, on Capcom-Unity.com last week, someone asked the same question and I asked fans what they wanted to see if we were to make some more. The result was a thread on our boards that is hundreds of posts long, tens of thousands of views and I’ll be ‘interpreting’ that feedback and making recommendations to Takeuchi-san based on it.”

So it seems that thanks to the huge amount of fan response, the producer of the game, Jun Takeuchi, will make his team come up with more new things for the game. What do you think should be included in this new DLC? New modes, extra campaign missions or costumes? Let us know by leaving a comment.
