Companies like Best Buy and MacConnection are low on 15-inch MacBook Pro stocks

Mac resellers are signaling shortages of 15-inch MacBook Pros in what could be regarded as a clear indication that the Cupertino, California-based Apple is dwindling down stock intentionally, ahead of a planned refresh.

Not that the MacBook Pro redesign wasn’t all over the news already, but AppleInsider arrives today with a tidbit that reinforces those claims, revealing that multiple Apple resellers - especially those which sell lots of Macs - “are reflecting stock outs of 15-inch MacBook Pros.”

Names such as J&R, Best Buy and MacConnection are dished out in the report, all of which have been, or currently are out of stock. The 2.2GHz configuration of Apple's 15-inch MacBook Pro seems to be the most “affected” model.

Apple is believed to plan the introduction of not only new MacBook Pros, but also new iMacs in the near future.
