In a move that would probably best fit into the script of one of those soapy romantic comedies, Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn's spokespersons confirmed exclusively to 'People' Magazine that they are no longer an item.
Let us get one thing straight: although the two actors never publicly discussed their relationship, and only hinted at being together, they are now calling it off. If indeed Vince and Jen grew close on the set of their latest movie 'The Break-Up', that means that, today, a romance of well over a year has come to an end.
'After Jennifer's trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today.', Stephen Huvani and John Pisani told the magazine. That must only mean that, despite all the denying from both of them, they were together!
The press was more than fixated on the two co-stars and on the way, their relationship went from purely professional to the next level. The tabloids have written lengthy articles in which they were either splitting up or preparing for a fabulous $8 million wedding. Jennifer and Vince have repeatedly denied all the rumors, while still trying to hold on to their right at privacy.
In October, Vince filed a lawsuit against several newspapers that claimed he was cheating on Aniston with a 'mysterious woman', with whom he was allegedly seen smooching while in London for a new movie. That same week, the 'Friends' star appeared on Oprah where, for the first time, she admitted to dating Vaughn, but only to say that they haven't broken up.
All in all, it was a romance closely watched by the media all over, especially as it came after Jennifer's very public split from Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt, who walked out on her in favor of Angelina Jolie. The amount of truth or of realistic facts contained in all that we've been reading in the press is (and probably will remain) known only by the two former lovers, now that they decided to go on separate ways.
