Tori Spelling has often been a target of speculation as regards her weight, though she has always insisted she is naturally thin but incredibly healthy. Recent photos made available online thanks to the paparazzi with Radar Online would seem to confirm that her frame is thinner than ever, even as Tori continues to deny all rumors of an eating disorder. That’s Fit agrees that she seems to have a problem.

The old saying has it that the camera adds ten pounds, which is why all stars (women in particular) are under constant pressure to look good. In theory, this would mean that all celebrities should be at their fittest to come across as good-looking; yet, in a culture that equals thin with beautiful, more stars are becoming underweight in their desire to look waifish on the screen. Tori Spelling is one of them, That’s Fit says, no matter how much she denies it – because the eyes can’t deceive you.

An editor for That’s Fit got to meet the star during a Q&A to promote the latest season of her reality show and the account she gives of the meeting does nothing to dispel rumors of an eating disorder. “I had prepared myself to see Spelling in person. Rumors of anorexia and weighing a mere 98 pounds have been haunting her since last April. Although she shrugs off reports that she has an eating disorder by proclaiming herself as healthy, I still knew she’d be thin. I just didn’t know how thin. On the show, she looks svelte, but not emaciated. She’s able to carry at least one of her children at a time without help and appears to be energetic. On the surface, I find her to be a sweet, yet driven woman and was hoping the old adage, ‘the camera adds 10 pounds,’ didn’t apply. I was wrong,” That’s Fit writes.

“When Spelling and her husband walked into the room, the first thing I noticed wasn’t her bright smile or her super-straight hair. To be frank, I was alarmed by her size – or lack thereof. Even wearing a loose-fitting jersey dress couldn’t conceal her gaunt arms and décolletage, and as the interview progressed, I couldn’t help but almost feel sorry for her. There was a platter of mini-burgers in the back of the room, and it took all of my strength not to sneak out of my chair and quietly slip one into her hand,” the report goes on to say.

As also noted above, Tori has often found herself in a position in which she was forced to address reports of an eating disorder. The more recent set of photos, now circulating online, and this account of a face-to-face meeting with her do nothing in terms of stopping the rumor mill.
