Actor obviously had no idea he was pressed for time

Local affiliate KTVU has no time or patience for Danny Glover’s lengthy expositions! The iconic actor agreed to do an interview via satellite to talk about APWU’s National Day of Action and to raise awareness for the American Postal Workers’ Union, but he barely got the time to warm up.

The National Day of Action is in protest of cutbacks planned for the US Postal Service, and Glover has been a vocal supporter of the Union because his parents also worked in the system.

In fact, that’s what he planned to start his story with, during the interview with TV anchor Tori Campbell, which you can find embedded below. One minute in his speech, which promised to be emotional and, yes, with a point, he was interrupted to be reminded that he was on a time limit.

“Reminded” is just a way of saying because, by Glover’s reaction, he had no idea he had under 2 minutes to answer all questions and raise awareness for an issue that is so close to his heart. So he exploded on the anchor, who, in turn, blamed the satellite transmission for the time limit.

“Well you should’ve given me more time, that’s the first thing,” Glover said. “Why don’t you go on, if you don't have enough time don't bother!”

Campbell got to ask him a second question, only to cut him off as he was answering it. She promised viewers that they would get back to the chat, presumably with Glover too - that is, assuming he’ll want to talk to them again after this.

His Roger Murtaugh from “Lethal Weapon” had the perfect response for situations like this: “I’m too old for this [expletive]!”
