A reporter working for People magazine was arrested for trespassing actor Brad Pitt's property near El Capitan State Park in Santa Barbara for getting some shots from Angelina Jolie's adopted son Maddox's birthday.
The photographer, Jeffrey Neal Weiss, was caught at around 11.30 a.m. by Pitt's security. He was given a citation and is ordered to appear in Santa Barbara Superior Court on Sept. 8., Sheriff's sergeant Eric Raney confirmed.
Pitt's publicist said, "It's too bad that the media can't respect people's privacy, If the media continue to trespass on private property, they will be arrested. This is getting out of control."
According to Associated Press, People spokeswoman Nancy Valentino said Weiss inadvertently trespassed. "He regrets it. This is not the way we do business at People," Valentino said.
