The kinetic energy of people having fun generates electricity, powers the dance floor

Thanks to the greenheads and scientists working at the Sustainable Dance Club Company, green electricity can now be generated simply by getting a bunch of people together and making them dance for hours on end.

However, there is a catch: these people must dance on some very innovative and high tech floor tiles specially designed by said company, which collect the dancer's kinetic energy and use it to make electricity.

The science talk surrounding these floor tiles basically says that each of them has a power generator that responds to pressure incorporated in their design, and is fully capable of delivering 35 watts whenever people start dancing on it.

Interestingly enough, it seems that one club in San Francisco, named Temple Night Club, has already invested in installing such floor tiles, and is now using them to generate electricity.

The manufacturers of these high-tech tiles claim that they can be used either to light up the dance floor itself, or to power up nearby electric equipment.
