Renee Zellweger's Romantic Date with Her Ex-usband

Renee Zellweger has recently dated her ex-husband for some romantic dinners in New York City and Connecticut, according to rumors.

The actress asked for annulment after 128 days of marriage, the first reason quoted in the papers being "fraud".

According to some onlooker and restaurant staff members, the former couple have enjoyed each other's company and looked like they were still together.

"They just kept looking at each other... They were cuddling during their meal", witness Anna Hernandez who spotted the couple at intimate Italian restaurant Mario's in Rock Hill, Connecticut, told In Touch Weekly magazine.

Renee and Kenny, who tied the knot in May on the resort island of St. John in the U.S Virgin Islands, are therefore said to have been planning to scrap divorce proceedings which began in September and reconcile.

Last month, country singer Kenny Chesney confessed about losing Renee:
"It was like opening the door to our house and having someone come in and take your big-screen TV off the wall during the big game, and there's nothing you can do about it."

Actress Chloe Sevigny ("Boys Don't Cry") was infuriated by the split, saying "that's one of the things I hate about celebrities in America, this lack of respect for the institution of marriage".

Chesney, 37, has found his relief in music, which for him is "like medicine - and obviously I need that now," as he said.

The country singer added "no matter what's going on in my life, there are two things that have stayed the same: the road and the radio. I look for the answers there, on a long stretch of highway or in a great song."
