Actress Renee Zellweger, angry with a reporter who published an article last week about her being romantically involved with her best friend, Damien Rice, went to his office to confront him.
Zellweger, who has recently announced that she and her husband, country singer Kenny Chesney, are seeking an annulment after five months of marriage, went to New York Post headquarters and rang the columnist from the reception, to tell him that his article made her 'look slutty'.
Renee said: "Come down because I want to talk to you."
She told the writer: "That story was hurtful about me being with another man. It wasn't true and it made me look slutty."
Zellweger, 36, insisted that she doesn't have an affair with Rice and denied having a romantic relationship with a man she went to a baseball game with.
Last year, Renee and Damien were rumored to have had an affair, but they both denied allegations, arguing they're just best friends.
Renee Zellweger, 36, met Kenny Chesney, 37, at a charity concert for tsunami victims, on 15 January 2005, in California. After only four months, the couple got married in a small ceremony, which took place on the Caribbean island of St. John, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
