Actress Renee Zellweger burst into tears during a TV show, just days before the announcement of her getting divorced from her husband, Country singer Kenny Chesney.

36-year-old Renee was invited at British breakfast television show GMTV just a few days before the announcement. When she was asked by the host of the show how is marriage after four months. Zellweger replied "You know I have been kind of busy, so I haven't noticed the formality of it", but she had tears in her eyes saying that.

Renee also declined any comment about her husband Chesney: "I don't want to talk about that, I can't". The actress then fought back tears and added: "I have got to keep those things precious for myself".

Renee Zellweger met 37-year-old Kenny Chesney at a charity concert for tsunami victims, on January 15 2005 in California.

After only a few months of dating, the couple got married during a small ceremony, that took place on the Caribbean island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

But last week the couple shocked the media, announcing they are seeking for an annulment after only four months of marriage.

Zellweger cited "fraud" when she filed the divorce papers at Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday. According to US law, she will have to prove that the country singer misrepresented facts vital to their marriage.
