The 100-foot wide, three-level building bears a traditional Chinese-style tile roof

ifoAppleStore, the primary source of information on Apple's retail stores, points out to some architectural renderings on a public web site, which (seemingly) depict the design for Apple’s upcoming Beijing (China) store. The designs reportedly belong to American architect Benjamin Wood, while the store in question is yet to be officially confirmed.

While the store's exact location hasn’t been identified yet, it is believed that construction is well underway, with Apple planning the grand opening sometime this fall. “The design shows a 100-foot wide, three-level building with dark wood features and a traditional Chinese-style tile roof,” according to the report in question, with the center portion of the building being engulfed by glass. A suspended, back-lit Apple logo rounds up the design particularities of the store which, in our opinion, is enough to compete with Apple's Fifth Avenue (NYC) flagship store.

ifo continues to pinpoint some key features of the store, including a three-level spiral glass staircase that can be seen behind the glass, while the area in front of the store is characterized as “a wide stone pedestrian walkway.”

In other Apple retail store news, the Mac maker has recently introduced new One to One training sessions at its stores, setting into place a first-come, first-served purchase system. Apple has broken down One to One in three major categories, providing three ways to learn. Personal Training Sessions offer an uninterrupted hour with a Trainer, while Exclusive One to One Workshops offer the opportunity to work with a Trainer on special-interest topics. The One to One web page lets attendees personalize their own One to One page and access tutorials, schedule and manage appointments, and explore projects created by others who take the course.
