Dare to Be Creative has released Renamer4Mac version 3. The batch file renaming utility adds a new look to Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5, and is designed to improve usability, productivity and efficiency. This version is the first official release since Dare to Be Creative acquired Renamer4Mac. A trial version is available

Renamer4Mac makes it really easy to rename a big number of files according to a preset pattern and allows users rename their files using search & replace, insert/overwrite of text, the number the files and convert upper/lowercase. A light user interface and a real-time preview feature help users see how the files will be named as they're actually doing the configuring!

Renamer4Mac is 100% written for Mac OS X and it is English, French, German, Italian and Japanese localized, Dare to Be Creative notes. Users can batch rename large numbers of files in mere seconds with simple commands like a drag, a drop and a final click, of course; all this while the above-mentioned live preview gives instant feedback on new filenames in order to find errors and fine-tune results.
