RemoteBox, a graphical tool (GTK) written in Perl, which allows users to administer guests or virtual machines running under VirtualBox on a remote server, is now at version 1.5.
RemoteBox 1.5 can run on a variety of operating systems including Linux and BSD. The server part of the application can run on any operating system supported by VirtualBox.
Highlights of RemoteBox 1.5:
• Most of the guest's settings can now be changed while the guest is running, which should reduce the inconvenience of shutting the guest as previously required; • Ability to save screenshots of guests as PNG images has been implemented; • An icon for Solaris 11 (64bit) guest OS has been added; • Status icons for each guest in the list have been added.
