If you're lying on your couch, Windows Vista Sideshows will not save your precious body energy (even though you will not have to get up and turn on the computer). It will only make you feel bad. You'll have to get up from the chair and squint at the small display in order to check your e-mail info. That's wasted energy. But wait, there's even a remote control for media center and Vista.

It can also give you access to all sorts of life saving and very important info like your music tracks, surfing channels at your leisure while checking incoming mails. The remote has a Bluetooth range of 100 m so you can use it from different rooms. Anyway, watch out for the cordless phones and microwave ovens interferences while carrying this when couch-trekking. No word on the price yet. I wonder if there will ever be a remote control with built-in keyboard.
