Remember The Milk, the team behind the popular GTD (getting things done) to-do-list manager app for Android devices, has just announced a major update of the software.

The latest version of Remember the Milk (RTM) comes with a completely redesigned user interface, along with new features and new widgets.

In addition, the developers also made available a basic version of the app, which is now available for free from Android Market.

Until recently, only those who owned a Pro account could download the application for free from Android Market, but starting with version 2.0.0, all Android users will be able to download it.

However, the basic version has some limits, such the option to sync manually once every 24 hours with RTM servers, whereas the Pro version offers unlimited push synching, reminders and widgets.

Remember the Milk for Android is now available as a free download from Android Market and is compatible will all devices running Android 1.5 and up.
