Google's Android operating system has recently seen a new application released for those who use a mobile phone powered by the platform, namely the Remember The Milk software solution. Whether it involves tasks, notes, lists, Smart Lists, or locations, the application will offer users a simple way to manage them all.

Remember The Milk for Android is available as a free download on the Android Market only to Pro users, it seems, and is set to deliver a series of capabilities to them, including background sync (also allows users to enjoy the app offline and sync when an Internet connection is available), notifications, task organization, and more.

Users can easily edit tasks, add new ones, customize them, perform quick actions, or enjoy the possibility to note different things for a task. At the same time, they can also tag the tasks the way they consider best suited, see tasks located nearby, search through them and more. In addition, the app comes with a widget that displays tasks directly on the Home screen, making things even more comfortable for the user.

Those who do not have a Pro account can try out the Remember The Milk application for 15 days. The application is available for download on the Android Market, as well as from the company's website here. More details on this feature-packed software solution available for Google's Android operating system can be found there too.

In related news, we learn that another application for the Android platform, namely the Weather Channel app, has just been updated, and that there are a series of new features available for users, including the possibility to click on interactive, expandable ads linking to WAP sites, video or locations, or to go directly to phone calls from the application. The app also comes with a widget that delivers weather information directly to the handset's home screen. Users can download it for free from the Android Market.
