The entire theme for the character will only be played once

Olivier Derivere, the composer working on Remember Me, says that he has created the soundtrack of the game specifically to reflect the way fractured memories affect the choices and the action of main character Nilin.

Gamers will only hear snippets of the theme associated with the main character and only during the last fight of the game will the entire song play out, signaling that Nilin is now whole again.

Derivere tells MTV Multiplayer that, “She is a strong female character but at the same time she is really confused and lost as her memory was erased. What people may not get is that every music cue is a part of Nilin.”

The music is also designed to show the player how well he is performing during the first sections of Remember Me and guide him through the game.

The game will be out on the PC, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in early June.
