Just when you thought you heard it all, the conspiracy theories around Blue Ivy Carter, Beyonce and Jay-Z's first child, reach a new height. A group of vandals have defaced a church sign, writing that the celebrity kid is actually “Satan.”

Ever since she was born on Saturday, January 7, Blue Ivy Carter has been getting a lot of media – perhaps even more than her more famous parents.

Over the past couple of days, one particular thread of discussion has been picking up Steam: that the child is somehow connected to Satan or the Illuminati, as we also informed you yesterday.

The latest act of vandalism was probably done thinking along these lines.

“Beyonce's new baby Blue Ivy Carter is the devil incarnate – this according to some heartless vandal who defaced the sign in front of a North Carolina church yesterday,” TMZ informs.

The sign was made to read, “Beyonce had her baby. Satan is on Earth,” thus taking conspiracy theories one step further than before.

“The pastor at Beulah Hill Baptist Church in West End, NC tells TMZ, he discovered the vandalism yesterday after receiving numerous complaints from locals – and removed it immediately,” the e-zine further says.

“The pastor insists, the church had nothing to do with the apocalyptic message... it was simply the victim in a random act of mischief,” adds the report.

In an update, TMZ says the pastor has changed his tune since the story broke out, now telling the press that he didn't give such statements – but the celebrity e-zine stands by its original story.

As we also informed you the other day, there are various theories in circulation around Blue Ivy Carter, most of them using as arguments interpretations of her name.

You can find them on Twitter (for instance), under the hashtag #Illuminati – but know that they claim that either Blue Ivy is the daughter of Satan or irrefutable proof that Jay-Z rides with the Illuminati.
