Release of iOS 5.1.1 Untethered Jailbreak May Occur Within Hours

The Hack in the Box conference schedule indicates that Pod2g’s Absinthe 2.0 jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 might be released this Friday, around 7:00 AM EST.

Analyzing the schedule for various jailbreak showcase events, iDownloadBlog estimates that the highly-anticipated iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak will be released in a matter of hours.

The Corona event is expected to kick off at 5:30AM EST on Friday, May 25th, and the Absinthe event will follow shortly after that, at 7:00 AM EST, Jeff Benjamin explains. Therefore, it is quite possible to see the jailbreak released in that timeframe. Here’s the Hack in the Box agenda, according to the blog:
