Release Date for The Avengers 2 Now Made Public

Joss Whedon might have agreed to write and direct The Avengers 2 – so that problem is pretty much out of the way – but it now seems that fans stand to wait for quite a while before the movie actually hits the public eye.

Official sources inform us that the release date for this much expected sequel is none other than the 1st of May, 2015.

Yes, that is about two years from now (just short of two months). Yes, that is going to be one long wait. Yes, we are pretty sure it will all be worth it.

Until then, need we remind you that we have several other movies to enjoy, such as Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Hopefully, these will manage to keep our appetite for superheroes well in check, at least until The Avengers 2 finally hits the screens.
