Hackers have breached and defaced the Regional Telecom Training Centre in Ahmedabad website of BSNL, the Indian state-owned telecoms company.

According to HackRead, the website was hacked twice. First, Ch3rn0by1 of the Pakistani group P4K-M4D-HUNT3R-Z defaced it with the following message: “Boxed by Ch3rn0by1. Nothing personal just a security reminder. I was just trying my skills on your website/server and you know the result. Don't hate me, hate your security.”

A few hours later, the same BSNL website was defaced by a hacker who uses the online moniker Dukhi NawaB.

“Do You Know Why You Got HACKED? Free Kashmir. Freedom is our goal,” he wrote. “This institutionalized impunity with which the killings of civilians by military and police forces in Jammu and Kashmir continues should be a source of shame for India which propagates to be a democracy.”

At the time of writing, the website has been restored. It’s worth noting that the websites of BSNL are often targeted by hacktivists.
