Refreshed DirectX End-User Runtimes have been made available for download from Microsoft as of yesterday April 3, 2007. The download is designed to deliver the DirectX 9.0c end-user redistributable
to developers. Microsoft offers DirectX End-User Runtimes in order to be included in third-party products.

The Redmond Company revealed that DirectX end-user redistributable is multi-languaged and that the package contains the following: Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Czech, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Swedish, and English.

"The DirectX redist installation includes all the latest and previous released DirectX runtime. This includes the bi-monthly D3DX, XInput, and Managed DirectX components. The DirectX runtime cannot be uninstalled. We recommend Windows Me and Windows XP users create a "System Restore" point before installing," Microsoft informed.

DirectX Redistributable 9.0c April 2007 is supported for a range of Microsoft operating systems including various editions of Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP and Windows Vista. The good news is that Softpedia is offering DirectX Redistributable 9.0c April 2007 directly. It is a 48.8 MB download so things should run smoothly. It is available for download as of today April 4, 2007. Softpedia guarantees that the DirectX Redistributable 9.0c April 2007 is 100% Free, but developers are advised to respect the license agreement.

"The redistributable license agreement covers the terms under which developers may use the Redistributable. For full details please review the DirectX SDK EULA.txt and DirectX Redist.txt files located in the license directory," Microsoft informed.
