As rumors have been saying for days now, this weekend has turned out to be really special for Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon, who got married to fiancé Jim Toth in a super exclusive, super private ceremony.

The two started dating shortly after Reese ended her 3-year romance with Jake Gyllenhaal but, for the obvious reasons, kept their budding affair under wraps for quite some time.

They were engaged in December last year but even after Reese showed off the impressive 4-carat diamond engagement ring she’d received from Jim, the two still remained guarded about their life as a couple.

This would partly explain why they wanted a private wedding ceremony, as well as their attempts at getting married without the media frenzy that usually accompanies celebrity events of the type.

Us Weekly reports that only about 120 guests attended the fabulous ceremony (a very small number compared to other celebrity weddings), and that they included family members and several A-list friends.

“Wearing a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier gown, the actress, 35, exchanged vows with CAA agent Toth, 40, in front of 120 family members and friends (including Renee Zellweger, and Alyssa Milano, and Tobey Maguire) in the front courtyard of the Ojai house,” the magazine says.

In other words, the ceremony took place at Reese’s California home, which further guaranteed privacy from the media.

Matron of honor was Reese’s best friend, Heather Rosenfield, while her two children from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe, Ava and Deacon, were also included in the ceremony.

“The ‘Tennessee Waltz’ was the processional music for Toth and the kids, while Witherspoon walked down the aisle to ‘Here Comes the Bride.’ The 20-minute ceremony was officiated by Reverend Jimmy Bartz, founder of Thad’s church in Santa Monica, where the couple have been attending weekly Sunday services,” Us further says.

The wedding rings have been designed by famed jeweler William Goldberg, as per the same report.

Contacted for comment on the report, a rep for Witherspoon would only say as much: “They are extremely happy.” Congratulations to the happy couple.
