Yet, she does it either way

“Walk the Line” star Reese Witherspoon is in a great shape, without being too skinny or buff. Paparazzi regularly snap her running or hiking with her personal trainer and, not once, doing weird-looking exercises that have her standing upside down propped to a tree (second photo). Yet, had she a choice, the actress would be doing something else with her mornings than working out, as FitCeleb says.

Reese knows only too well how important it is to be in top shape in the business, which is why she will never complain about having to lose weight for a movie part. This is also the reason why she’s always working out – because she knows that if she lets herself go, everything can disappear in just a second.

If she had a choice, though, she would not work out at all, because she simply hates the gym, as she has reportedly admitted herself in a recent interview.

“If I never had to see the inside of a gym again, I’d be a very happy person. Even the idea of it, I hate. There’s people who love it and it’s just their thing. I can do it, and I can do it for my job because I’m really lucky to get this job and have a job so I will do it. But it’s not my first choice of morning activity.” Witherspoon has recently admitted.

In doing so, Reese Witherspoon joins a rather short list of female stars who have come clean about their loathing for gyms and all working out-related equipment. Scarlett Johansson, yet another celebrity with an amazing figure, also spoke out about not being a fan of physical exercise, even admitting that the only gym she saw in her life was from the outside. Moreover, the star said that she would never diet, adding that her body was, because of this, one hundred percent natural – literally.

“That [the scary-skinny craze in Hollywood] is the biggest nonsense ever! Count me out. I don’t understand [it]. And besides, I like to eat too much. I’ve seen gyms only from the outside. I feel very comfortable with my body.” Scarlett revealed in a recent interview. With all that, she too might have given in to the “craze” that is sweeping Tinseltown, since speculation has started building that she might have gone on a very strict diet to drop a few pounds for her upcoming part as Black Widow in “Iron Man 2.”
