An outrageous mistake done by Chanel puts into shadow Reese Witherspoon's joy of winning a Golden Globe Award.
Hollywood beauty Reese Witherspoon was horrified when she learnt that the gown Chanel designed for her, for the Golden Globes awards, had been worn by Kirsten Dunst in 2003.
Witherspoon, who won Best Actress for "Walk the Line," wore a white-and-silver vintage Chanel dress. Everything perfect so far... The worst was to come when she later found out that this dress had been recently recycled! The actress thought her outfit was special and unique, but surprisingly, it was none of the two.
Witherspoon's representative, Nancy Ryder, is so angry at Chanel that she has vowed not to accept anything from them again. She is even said that she's done a promise not to let her clients, including Jennifer Lopez and Renee Zellweger, wear anything from the French couture house.
"Reese was told the dress was vintage. It was not. I'm not angry, just a little disappointed, but the big deal is Reese won the Golden Globe," she was quoted by The New York Post as saying.
