Apple is releasing not only a new iPhone and a new line of iPods today, but also some exciting software updates, one of which is iTunes 11.

Apple’s search engine has yielded a lot of confirmations today, including the fact that its next smartphone would indeed be called the “iPhone 5,” as well as that it would boast LTE networking.

iTunes 11 was confirmed in much the same way. According to the people at 9to5mac, high-level AppleCare employees have confirmed to the site that Apple’s digital player “has been re-designed from the ground up and is much sleeker and faster.”

With the iTunes Store and iCloud acting up lately, it’s no wonder Apple was preparing something big for us. Expect the new iTunes to hit your software updater in a few hours from now.
