Microsoft just posted a brand new photo of its redesigned Xbox 360 console, while confirming that Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be treated to two free games each month until the Xbox One is launched in November.

Microsoft focused on the Xbox One and its upcoming games at E3 2013, but the company also confirmed a few big changes for the Xbox 360, including a redesigned version of the console, as well as for Xbox Live Gold subscribers, who'll get two free games monthly.

First up, the new Xbox 360 model can be admired above and, while its design is a bit more boxy, Microsoft notes that it aligns with the Xbox One aspect.

What's more, the company also confirmed on its Xbox Wire that Xbox Live Gold members will get two free games per month until the launch of the Xbox One in November.

Halo 3 and Assassin's Creed 2 will be offered at first and, in order to celebrate E3 2013, Fable 3 is also free for Gold users, as we reported earlier this week.

The new Xbox 360 version is on sale in the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, and Ireland, and will reach other territories soon.
