Just last summer, Reddit proudly announced some rather impressive numbers, it had 1.2 billion page views in a month. That was quite a big change for the service which had been struggling until less than a couple of years ago, despite the core loyal following.
A few months later and Reddit is seeing 1.8 billion page views per month.
All those page views came from 28 million unique visitors, also a new record. The
numbers come straight from Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian.
Reddit reached 1 billion page views for the first time earlier this year, in February. Now, it's close to double that.
The sky is the limit for Reddit, it seems, which has definitely replaced Digg as the place to go to share links and news stories. This is somewhat surprising as, for a long time, Digg was seen as the next big thing.
