Redbox Says Modern Warfare 3 Is Most Rented Game of 2011

Movie and video game rental service Redbox has revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 from Infinity Ward and Activision was the most rented video game of the year.

Here is the full top 10 video game rental games for 2011 according to Redbox:

1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for the Xbox 360
2. Just Dance 3 on the Wii
3. Dead Island for the Xbox 360
4. Cars 2 for the Wii
5. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on the PlayStation 3
6. Brink for the Xbox 360
7. The Smurfs Dance Party on the Wii
8. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the Xbox 360
9. Call of Duty Black Ops for the Xbox 360
10. Transformers Dark of the Moon on the Xbox 360

It’s interesting to note that there are 6 Xbox 360 titles in the top ten and just one for the PlayStation 3, which might say something about the consumption patterns of the two categories of gamers.
