Red Hat has just announced that one of its most prominent  Executive Vice President of Sales, Services & Field Marketing,  Alex Pinchev, will be moving to another company, from January 16th, 2012.

Alex Pinchev worked at Red Hat since 2003, but now apparently has found another job, chief executive officer (CEO) at Acronis.

I am excited by what lies ahead for me and by what continues to lie ahead for Red Hat. I have had the honor of participating in the success of Red Hat’s growth and will leave behind a strong organization with so many talented people under Jim's leadership”, said Alex Pinchev.

Jim Whitehurst, Red Hat’s CEO declared that he is saddened by Alex's departure, but the team that he's gathered will continue to serve Red Hat well.
