Last week, HTC made the Black flavor of its HTC One max smartphone official in Hong Kong, and it seems that it has decided to launch it in its homeland market Taiwan in a Red coat now.

The new color option is now available in the country next to the Silver version, featuring the same hardware specs and features as before, fonearena notes.

HTC One max was launched with a large 5.9-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) screen, as well as with a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor packed inside.

The mobile phone features 2GB of RAM inside, along with 16GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot, as well as a 3300 mAh battery.

On the back, it sports a 4MP UltraPixel camera capable of recording videos in full HD resolution, complemented by a front camera for video calling. The smartphone runs under Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, with the Sense 5.5 UI loaded on top.
