God mode, suicide, plus other codes and glitches

Red Faction is a first-person shooter video game that was released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2, Microsoft Windows, and Macintosh by THQ and Volition. A version for the Nokia N-Gage was developed by Monkeystone Games.

And the game was re-developed as a top-down shooter for the mobile phone version.

Red Faction takes place on Mars in the 22nd century. The player controls a miner named Parker who helps lead a rebellion against the Ultor Corporation. The premiere feature of the game is its "Geo-Mod" technology, short for "geometry modification", which provide destructible environments, allowing the player to destroy certain sections of the scenery in the game. For example, instead of opening a door, a player could blast through the rock surrounding the door.

CHEATS

Press ` (the unshifted ~ key) during game play to display the console window, then enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Codes

God mode - vivalahelvig

All weapons and ammunition - bighugmug

Flight mode - heehoo

Suicide - kill

Alternate view - camera(1-3)

Please note: God mode may become disabled when moving into certain new areas. Also, you may not be able to use weapons when wearing a disguise in some levels.

GLITCHES

Strong guards
When you first meet Capek, there will also be two guards with submachine guns there. Enable the vivalahelvig code. Throw a remote detonation bomb at one of the guards so that it attaches onto him. He will run around screaming as usual until you detonate the bomb. After this is done, he will not die but instead continue running around screaming. This also happens to the other guard. Please note: It takes two bombs or just a gun to gill those guards.

Bouncing rocket
Get to the section where the announcer is saying "Mine M4 will be sealed in five minutes" after the part where you crossed the bridge (which you can destroy) that had the assault vehicle and soldiers. While you are taking the elevator up, fire a rocket at the top of the elevator shaft. As long as you can't see the top of the shaft, the rocket will come flying back down at you.
