Red Faction 2 Cheats (PS2)

The first Red Faction game received a lot of press hype and the gamers had great expectations. Like most games of this type and I really don't know why, it's always shooters, it was a failure. It had innovations, OK, but when you compared it with other similar titles, the whole thing seemed a bit outdated. Red Faction 2 was a way for the producers to prove everybody wrong. A shootout on Mars seems the perfect premise for a FPS game, but the story doesn't really matter. It's all about gunning your opponents and shooting your rocket launcher, just to see its beautiful graphical representation. If you found the first Red Faction to your liking, then this will be a blast for you, otherwise stick to Unreal Tournament 2004 and any Unreal Tournament game for that matter. In the meantime, you can increase the fun of this title with some cheats:

FMV sequences
After clearing a level, you will be awarded the FMV sequence for that level plus another movie. Completing level 1 unlocks a spoof interview with characters from Summoner 2 talking about the Red Faction games. Completing level 2 unlocks a behind-the-scenes FMV sequence.

Instagib ammunition
Enter X, X, X, X, Square, Circle, X, X at the cheats screen under the options menu.

Throw Grenades Rapidly
First, if you want to throw grenades rapidly, grab a frag, satchel, incendiary, shock, then have at least two weapons and press your grenade throwing button press Square or circle, keep pressing R1rapidly and if you do it correctly, you should see plenty of grenades on the floor. Also works on 1 player story mode.
