Red Dead Redemption, the Western-themed open world videogame from Rockstar, is not out yet but the development team behind it is already thinking about the future. The company has announced that they plan to launch new content, called Outlaws to the End, during June.

The package will be free for all those who have bought the game and will introduce fresh cooperative missions to the game. Players will be able to get it at the same time from the Xbox Live service from Microsoft and the PlayStation Network from Sony.

Outlaws to the End is just one of the three downloadable content packs Red Dead Redemption is set to get throughout the summer. Two to four players will be able to enjoy the new missions at the same time, collaborating in order to reach some pretty demanding objectives and get new Achievements and XP rewards.

In “Walton's Gold,” the fight will take place in a mining camp, which has been rigged with explosives, the objective being to extract as much gold under intense fighter fire as possible. “The River” happens on a raft, the players taking out enemy boats and outposts as they battle their way to the fortress of Nosalida, which holds quite the weapons cache. The final mission announced by Rockstar is “Ammunition,” which tasks the players with breaking the siege of the town of Tesoro Azul by getting out of the settlement and taking out the heavy cannon batteries used by the assaulting Mexican Army.

Sam Houser, the founder and president of Rockstar Games, said that “Multiplayer in Red Dead Redemption offers players a whole new way to encounter the massive open world we’ve created, but we felt the experience would not be complete without co-op game play. With these missions, we wanted to create new ways for players to share in the experience of engaging with this amazing landscape.”
