It's the first time the entire footage is made available publicly

To celebrate one year since the record-breaking jump, Red Bull has released a new POV video of Felix Baumgartner's 1.25 Mach freefall. The clip shows the entire fall, from multiple cameras attached to Baumgartner's pressurized suit.

If you thought last year's live footage was intense, you've seen nothing yet. Particularly the uncontrolled spin in the early part of the jump is quite nerve-racking, even if we know how it all turns out.

That spin was one of the most dangerous parts of the jump and it could have ended quite badly had Baumgartner not managed to stop it exactly when he did. The very thin atmosphere made gaining control very difficult, but Baumgartner's experience helped him pull it together.

The new video shows the entire jump as seen from three cameras. It also shows quite a lot of interesting data, like the altitude, speed, and G-forces on Baumgartner's body. If you're interested in the jump, there's also a new full-length documentary about it available on Rdio.
