The newest revision for Piriform’s data recovery program, Recuva (portable), is 1.50.1036 and it encompasses plenty of improvements and new functions.

Build 1.50.1036 of the application features support for the ISO9660 file system and it can recover data even from unmounted drives. Furthermore, the developer announced that the product now includes support for recovering files when Junction Points (symbolic links) are provided.

The list of modifications is not extensive but it includes overall improvements that should increase its value.

The current build should be better at detecting and retrieving data from optical drives and the scan statistics should be performed with higher accuracy.

Apart from these changes, the developer also informs that Recuva 1.50 benefits from improvements touching on the graphical user interface and various smaller tweaks and repairs, although there are no details available.
