Actual details for it are pending

After a rather turbulent pre-launch existence, with an unsurprising ban in Australia surging from failing to obtain a rating, and a very surprising un-banning, after Sega's appeal, things seem to fall back in line with normality, and the game will even get a demo so that we can sink our teeth, wristblades or combat knives into it. Rebellion didn't have a lot of details on this upcoming demo, not even specifying which race we'd get to see more of or even if it would be a proper demo release, before the full game hit the physical and digital shelves, so that we could form a hands-on experience.

The only thing it did was announce its existence. According to AVP Galaxy, the studio announced that, "There will be a demo. That's all we can say." While the concept of hype is a familiar one for gamers, as well as its mechanics and the desired effect, the developers could have still let us on a few details. Anything would have worked. Instead, the one thing that they felt chatty about were the Xbox Live and PSN avatar outfits.

And even still, they did this by once again telling us nothing. "We do have some pretty exciting stuff in development which is currently going through the process of submissions and approvals," Rebellion said. "There's nothing I can confirm yet but hopefully they'll be some stuff that people will be excited about [on] both of those forums."

While the Alien Vs Predator legacy goes back to 1994, when the studio developed the first game on the Atari Jaguar, it's the 1999 PC Aliens vs Predator that really started the legacy. While a lot of its fame was shared with the 2001 AVP 2 designed by Monolith Productions, and not all credit would go to Rebellion, the fact that its upcoming resurrection of the series looks incredibly promising does not change. With just over a month until the release, we can only hope that the demo won't keep us waiting for more than two weeks.
