The public outcry resulting from the untimely death of a teenager in Florida may result in more arrests.

Two teenage bullies have already been brought to justice for causing the suicide of 12-year-old Rebecca Sedwick.

There has been a lot of controversy about whether or not her attackers' parents should be charged for turning a blind eye.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd tells ABC News that he wishes to arrest the parents, but does not have enough proof to do so.

"If I could, they would already be in jail. [...] But I can tell you this, that we're keeping our options open," he says.

The families would be charged for "contributing to the delinquency of a minor," but that charge is hard to prove in court.

The victim's mother agrees that the parents are responsible in the case, and suggests that the teens should be provided help, instead of persecution.
