14 DAY TRIAL // She got a lot of flak for her debut single, the YouTube hit “Friday” but Rebecca Black is working hard to turn that into a distant memory. She now has a brand new single and video out, “Person of Interest.”
Ever since the “Friday” debacle, which literally turned her for a while into the most hated person on the Internet (and that's no small feat), Black has been fighting tooth and nail to prove that she can actually sing.
“Person of Interest” would be a step in the right direction though chances are it will most definitely strike a chord with the same music lovers who also appreciated her “Friday” and the following “My Moment.”
The video is also pure bubbly pop fare, depicting a beautiful love story (puppy love, more likely) between Rebecca and some guy she fancies.
She does get points though for the crime scene and the policeman, there to investigate who stole her heart. Check it out.
