Realtek has outed its latest High-Definition Audio driver, version 2.71, that consists of 3 downloadable files: one compatible with Windows 2000, XP, and Server 2003, and the other two files developed for Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, and 8 OSes, one for each bit version.

The packages support a bunch of HD audio codecs (the full codecs list is provided through the download page), and as if that wasn't enough, it adds the ALC233, ALC284, ALC286, ALC292, ALC383, ALC668, ALC900 audio codecs as well.

In addition, they add WHQL support for AMD HDMI devices, and moreover, the XP-compatible file comes along with the Microsoft High-Definition Audio UAAV1.0a (5013) package.

So, this latest HD audio driver will support all the audio codecs that it needs, so that all the compatible sound cards enjoy the benefits of this release and won’t have any problems at all.

Now that being said, follow the link below and download Realtek’s most recent audio driver now.
